Our team of creative and technical experts at 3B Solutions bring with them more than twenty years of international experience in print and photo journalism, broadcast news and corporate video, documentary film production, multimedia, animation, and website design and online marketing.

Through this combination of diversified training and experience, as attained from around the world, the crew at 3B Solutions can offer the best communication and promotions options for your business or organization.

Our team is lead by John Ironside, a twenty year veteran of the communications and technology industries, who in addition to having worked at the international level in virtually every form of media has also taught those hi-tech subjects at various Community and Private Colleges across Canada.

John began his career in media in the late 1980s, when he graduated in London with his first two year diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting. As a student, John took it upon himself to produce and direct his first documentary, which was intended to teach high-school students about the risks and reality of the then new AIDS virus. That program, although shot on simple home camcorders, was broadcast by several stations of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, a first for any student production, making John the youngest ever producer/director to accomplish that level of success.

John then moved to Europe, where he documented with video, photography, and articles, the actions of organizations like Greenpeace and others of the then fledgling ecology movement. That footage was used in the production of news stories and documentaries that were seen around the world.

Follow up freelance assignments saw John travelling all over Eastern Europe, including in 1991 the then disputed Balkan regions of Bosnia / Yugoslavia. He then spent several months in the Middle East, mostly in and around the disputed border regions of Israel, before landing in Athens Greece, where he accepted the position of Sub-Editor and then Deputy Editor of Greek News Weekly, a national English language tabloid newspaper that was also the region's primary satellite feed to the Washington Times.

John returned to Canada in the early 1990s, and returned to school while simultaneously working as a camera operator, director, and producer of various projects. One of his documentaries, about the Native land claim at Camp Ipperwash, succeeded in being picked up by a major broadcaster for transmission across most of Ontario, despite having been shot on home camcorders, and being produced with essentially no budget.

When the SARS scare of 2003 stymied the Toronto production industry, John turned his technical skills to the security and investigations industry; for which he analyzed computers, enhanced video and photographic evidence, and created custom covert video surveillance equipment. He then went on to work within the digital communications industry, training and working as a field technician and trouble shooter for Rogers Communications.

John Ironside opened 3B Solutions in 2010, after being retained by Dr. Martin's Vein and Medical Aesthetics Clinic to create a series of videos, to write new and edit existing training materials, to create two websites, and to provide a number of other services pertaining to communications and promotions.

John's unique "off the wall" and "out of the box" thinking resulted in promotion concepts that attained much better results than the clinic's owners could ever have conceived possible. Despite the recession, and the luxury nature of many of the products her business offered, the clinic experienced a 40% increase in sales over the year before.

John firmly believes in paying it forward and contributing to the society in which we all live, and in that light he has volunteered his time to a variety of community services, including military service, working to improve our environment, acting as a Big Brother, helping to feed the less fortunate, and providing a home to a service dog in training.
